I am looking for suggestions on lightweight wheel options.

It appears wheel vendors don't often publish their wheel weight.

Looking for 17x9 or 17x9.5.

You can search for wheels at Discount Tire Direct by size under advanced search and then narrow it down by finish or style. If you see a wheel you like click on it and it will show the specs including weight.

Details: Search Wheels by Size | Discount Tire Direct

Is there a certain style or finish you're after?

I hate wheel shopping for this exact reason...HOW MUCH DO THESE FRIGIN THINGS WEIGHT
tire rack and DTD are the only 2 that list weight, but neither have the wheels I want :(

I saw a post a while ago and this guy bought 1 of every wheel he liked, weighed them and send the heavy ones back, seems ridiculous

Weight should be a mandatory spec like offset, bolt pattern and diameter/width

Thanks. I like these...https://www.extremeterrain.com/mammoth-boulder-charcoal-16-8-jk-J100614.html
From my search findings, these 16” might fit.
well from looking at 17" wheels you will see that there isn't much room between the wheel and the brake calipers i don't know if 16s will fit on a JL like they would on a JK. to me it looks like less then half of an inch. if you have a 4x4 shop near by that has some 16s you can see if one will fit other then that i would stick with 17s on a JL.
