I"m looking to move to a 35 on my rubi. I do mostly on road driving sadley... so I am interested in a light weight set up rim and tire package. I dont need super strong ply tires as I dont wheel hard stuff, just mild trails when I get a chance. I prefer to run hubcentirc rims as well if possible! thanks!

Nothing wrong with not offroading your Wrangler. It's normal.
35" K02's are light compared to other 35's and stick with a 17" wheel.
All wheel manufacturers provide weights so look for a few wheels that appeal to you and choose a lighter option. Around 25lbs is considered lightweight.

I have stock rubi k02. They ride good. Thinking 315/70 but they only measure out to like a 33.5.

They shouldn't unless you're measuring on the vehicle in which case my Nitto 37's measured 35.

Tire companies lie. Whatever they list the weight or size as, is a lie. At least BFG lies. Their 315 (34.4ā€) tire barely measures out at 33.5ā€. Thatā€™s new, mounted and aired up but off of the vehicle. And the tires weigh more than they claim. Per their published numbers my tire/rim combo was about 97 lbs. Scale says they are at 107.4 lbs.

The good news is, our jeeps dont care. I think most of us would have a difficult time feeling the difference of 10 lbs per wheel and I doubt the weight would impact mpg. I think air pressure has a bigger affect.

Full disclosure, Im nobody and my opinion means nothing.

I have cooper AT3 XLT 285/75/17. Big difference over the 285/70/17 great looking tires. I have a 1.5 inch Teraflex leveling kit and they look great on it.

May want to consider Toyo AT3s in either 315 size as they should fit stock wheels without any rub if you donā€™t plan on serious off-road. About as light as you can get in that size.

I run the 315/70-17 KO2 BFG on Method 703 wheels. Pretty good combo on a factory Mopar lift which measures about 3.5 inches on my '21 JLUR.
