Check out https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/ you can compare wheels and tire dimensions against what you have Stock, your stock wheels are 17x7.5 with a +44 offset for everything except 392's I believe.

Do you have a Sport or a Rubicon; it matters? Some times it boils down to preference if you want poke or not, a 12.50 wide tire will poke outside the fenders on a Rubicon with any offset less then about +10. As others said it also depends on the lift.
I’m in a rubicon
Non XR 392 wheels are 44.45mm. With 35/12.50’s the tread is ~even with the flares. I have 8.5” -1mm’s ordered and have added XR flare extensions that should cover (or almost).

I have run BFG 37x12.5 D KO2's mounted on Mopar 17x8.5 +12 offset for about two years on a 2.5" lift with zero problems. Love this setup!
