Offset (wheel/tire combo)?

2022 JL 2 door Willys w/ 2" Mopar lift

New Tires: 315 70 17
New Wheels: 17" x 8 or 17" x 8.5, 17" x 9??

Not sure of offset of how the tires will look?... how much will the tires above approximately stick out past existing factory fender?
I know the tires themselves are wider than the original 255 ones which are tucked in vs.(2.4" wider with the 315 tires)
Trying to pick out different wheels since originals too small....

Looking for maybe an inch or so past...not too much?

Those tires on 17x9 wheels with -12 offset will stick out roughly 2.8 inches.

Stock rims on a Rubicon were 17 X 7.5 with if I remember correctly a +41 offset. AEV, Fuel, KMC and several other wheel manufacturers now offer more positive offset wheels. I have KMC Mesa 17 X 9 with +25 and the 35 X 12.5 KO2 tires are only out about an inch. I have no issues with clearance.

17 X 9” wide Rim, with 4.5 back spacing, is a very popular wheel used.

These are 17x9s, (5.25" backspacing, 6mm offset according to Quadratec) with 315's. I believe your '22 Willys has the same axles and flares as my Sport.

I got 17x9 +12 with 265 wide tires they stick out about a inch if you don’t want them to stick out the more + you go the less they stick out factory is +26 but they might rub if you go to much if you can find them 35x10.5x17 will work with factory wheels

Method Bead Grip 703 is available in 17 x 8.5 with a +25 offset which will poke out 3/4".

My friend has them on her '23 Gladiator Rubicon and they look really good.
