I don't mean to be condescending, but do you know what a Wanker is in British slang?? If you did, I would be surprised you would still name your Jeep it.I have Bonnie for the JLU Sahara
I have Clyde for the JT Rubicon
And I've ordered Wanker for the JL Willys
Rocinante was on my short list as well. For the Rush reference (name of the ship they traveled to Cygnus with) though, not Don Quixote. I was also considering, Red Jeepchetta. I landed on just naming her Cygnus X-1.I was going to name my Jeep Rocinante after Don Quixote's faithful old horse, but then figured that in today's ignoramus world few would know what it meant. I have been told by several women that the title "roamer" made them a little uncomfortable when applied to a guy and his possessions. Eschew obfuscation!
I'm 100% aware of what a wanker is, is anyone that naive these days that they wouldn't? I'm a world traveler, not for tourism but actually lived and worked in many countries. I'm also a prolific Hash House Harrier, do you know what that is? If so, the wanker name would be a badge of honor. Look at my Forum name, I don't exactly give a rats ass what I'm called. My character speaks for itself with those that know me.I don't mean to be condescending, but do you know what a Wanker is in British slang?? If you did, I would be surprised you would still name your Jeep it.
