What does it mean when a member name is red?

Been chatting with Lasfit the last couple weeks about which blinker bulbs to get and noticed today their name turned red in the DM thread. Never seen that before, just curious what it means?

I'm thinking it indicates they're a sponsor. I've noticed it on other sponsors.

Interesting, I was almost thinking that's what happens when someone blocks you for a moment. They haven't responded since the name turned red so was curious. But if you've seen that on other sponsors then must not be the case and they're just slow to respond. Thanks Ratbert!

It definitely seems to be sponsors, but they already have special tags when they post.
