Use to be a land surveyor in South jersey when I bought my first jeep, a 1979 cj7 in 1984. Fun as he'll exploring the Jersey pine barrens during and after work

Mine kinda sucks, not Jeepy at all, I am in computers. That's why I jump into my Jeep at every opportunity I get. Learning about thingies in my Jeep puts a big smile on my face. Transfer case fluid change here I come this weekend 🤩👍

Tell us about yourself, Jeeper!
17 years auto mechanic, 27 years EMS (EMT/paramedic/fire paramedic), 22 years firefighter. First 4 wheeled vehicle was a mid ‘50s Jeep with a blown 4 banger engine and seized up 3 speed transmission. Rebuilt that 4 banger when I was 15, sourced a T18, freshened it up and installed it. That little Jeep did the Rubicon countless times (it was easier back in the ‘70s).

What software have you worked on for the entertainment industry?
It's one of the big premium TV and streaming services. I wrote the main backend system that our devices and web site interact with. And, of course, lots of other backend systems.

It's not as flashy as IBM, NASA, Raytheon, etc. that I've worked for, but it's an exceptional environment. I plan on eventually retiring here.

Unfortunately the current cancel culture results in people trying to get others fired when they get offended, so I prefer not to mention the name of the company. Not that I would ever, ever say something offensive! ;)

I work in IT but my side job is male escort. :)
You should try OF. I started as a male stripper and got lots of leads from customers to be an escort. But I never followed through. OF is much safer.

My career centered around the phrase “to fix what is broken”. Eventually becoming “figure out why it broke and stop it from breaking.” Hence my innate desire to over-engineer just about every damn thing I touch .
Interesting. I am more like "to fix what is broken" becoming "mess what with what doesnt need to be messed with and break it". Hence my innate desire to break anything I touch.

Professional estimator for an electrical contractor.

My area of estimating is overhead distribution 4KV to 69KV. Directional bore with UG cabling as well. Concrete encased duct bank installations. By the end of each year I usually estimate about $180 million in proposed work. My company will estimate over $1 billion in work each year, we win $350 - 450 million roughly.
