I am a retired mainframe systems programmer. Started on an IBM 360/30 in 1967. Retired after 47 years. It was ok but I often regretted not staying in the USAF because my job was great and it would have provided a job working for the government after retirement.

As far as jobs with Jeep, I did occasionally drive an M151 Mutt on the base. That was fun.

Lumber Sales
Home builder for over 25 years but due to a work injury ten years ago, I went into lumber sales. Eight years in, the owner died unexpectedly and they made me the general manager of the company. Been doing that the past two years. The wife works in the school as a Parents As Teachers coordinator. Her job doesn't pay well, but mine has allowed us to be debt free. Until next year when we start our new home build.

I work in logistics engineering, we provide a soldiers point of view and design influence on military vehicle upgrades and new combat vehicles.
They definitely did not use your group when they came up with the ASV...

Textron set a low bar with that one! Worst Army machine I ever worked on or rode in was one of these with the Armored Knight package.

Retired PharmD
The pharmaceutical world was my long-time money maker.
Also loved to gobble up real estate.
Retired from it all a few years back.
Now my job is spending money.

Jeepie thingy?
I love offroad racing.
Been racing my CJ in SCORE International and Best in the Desert sanctioned races since the 90's.
An absolute blast.
One thing I discovered a long time ago is that Jeep is not only for rock crawling...

Spent most of my career as a heavy equipment mechanic, dealer Service management and OEM customer support.

First five years was spent working 1120 feet below the surface in a shaft mine in Death Valley, California (Billie Mine). We “invented“ a fully remote controlled LHD mucker (wheel loader) there to pull ore out of unsupported stopes in the early 1980’s. Forgot to invent the remote controlled mechanic to recover it from bad ground though….LOL

The next several decades found me at three different Caterpillar dealers and finally, retiring from Komatsu. I use my Jeep to follow my passion of exploring mines and mining camps created in the 1800‘s.

Other than my occupation in my signature, I've been working in the land title business since the mid 1980's.
