Put in the Jeep all weather mats. Drain setup is pretty slick. Just gotta make sure itā€™s well seated in there.

Also put on these blind spot mini mirrors since I donā€™t have BLIS. Definitely cover the blind spots really well.

Well, I found out that 2.5 inches of lift is barely enough on 35's and the factory rock rails can't handle the rocks so it's time to upgrade...Also looking for Dif. Protection now. Some of these rocks were st let 36 inches round. Last and most importantly, get a good spotter and LISTEN to themšŸ‘

New fox 2.0's replaced the metalcloak rocksports. The rocksports are still the best bang for the buck, long travel, budget shocks on the market in my opinion, but after 30k miles on heavy 37's and hundreds of trails they were due for replacement. The 2.0's have a slightly longer extended length but are also longer compressed.

Also improved the tool storage situation in the rear with some triangle tool bags from Amazon.

Today, i finished changing upper control arm folks, cause i had very hard time to line up the bolts so i extended the bolt hole little bit but that bothered me , i got new forks and changed it. Also tried to set castor angle right . 6.5 driver and 6.8 passenger side. These long control arms were difficult to put it back i had to use jack to rotate axle and straps for pulling forward to line up bolts holes.

Yeah, I was looking at those Next Venture guards.

As for the sliders, I am still in a quandary. I know I want frame mounted, my wife would like a small step to help getting in and out but I won't get anything that would cause me to get hung up on rocks.

So far, I am between LOD Destroyer or Signature series, I like Rusty's but they have been out of stock for a long time, ARB but I would rather not drill into the body for them and maybe Poison Spyder but I would need to see a set and a few members reviews of them first.

My son owns Relentless Off-road Fabrication in Sparks so I may just hound him until he develops a set for mešŸ˜. He does new Bronco parts, Tacoma parts, Colorado parts and custom fab work. He has a Gladiator but has stayed out of the Jeep market because he feels it's saturated with fabricators and cheap Chinese stuff..

Even with all of the options available, I still see room for a different design and improvement. IE: A set that offers minimal reduction in clearance, hides the pinch weld seam, a modest but usable passenger step area, Rugged enough for heavy hits, Frame mounted and no body drilling (minor frame drilling ok) and of course they still need to look great!

She definitely sits lower now, slightly more on the passenger side. But should even out a bit when Iā€™m driving (passenger will cancel that out though). The stuff is heavy, more so when your handling everything alone and without lift/jacksā€¦ No doubt the stuff is tough, probably overkill. But thatā€™s a lot of peace of mind there. Next will have to be a lift for sure. Tires will certainly slap a fender. Plus my lower control arm appears level, if not slightly up. But that maybe just me seeing things looking for an excuse to order a lift.
