I use a 15” Milwaukee pack out bag and have mounted the bags to their pack out mounts. The picture includes everything I need for a week trip

Nice set up.

I am hoping to be able to use one of those Milwaukee Packout bags in front of the fridge in my Jeep. I was just at Home Depot yesterday looking at them but did not find a Packout mounting tray the correct size to be able to mount just the bag. All of the mounting trays were sized for the bigger Packouts, and those trays won't fit in front of my fridge. Do you know of mounting trays sized for just the Packout bags?

But this one could double as a very nice seat cover and would require fewer trail snacks. :)

Nice set up. Who makes the tan storage bags in the upper corners of this picture?
Thanks, I got the tan bags off Amazon.

All my trail tools go into the BAUER 24 in. Tool Bag. The bag is way too big and allows me to so overfill it with tools that I can hardly lift it into and out of the Jeep. It's like a little cross-fit workout every time I need to move the bag.

Ratchet sets (1/4, 3/8, 1/2), wrenches, torx, allens, extensions, adapters all in tool rolls in the big bag above. Hammers (3 lb dead blow and 4 lb BFH), different pliers/channel locks/vice grips/wire dykes, a big roll of bailing wire, about a thousand zip ties, roll of gorilla duct tape, some gloves... God only knows what else. Oh yeah... my impact gun, big battery, and impact sockets.

I think the bag weighed in around 80 pounds for Moab.

Yes, checkout Ametican adventure labs, they make a smaller mount,, but I think that is for two bags. On my top cargo rack, I cut the dual plastic mount in half and mounted it with no issues.

You can buy the Packout shoes & cleat sets and make your own Packout tray as I did for that side tool kit mount.
Milwaukee makes 3 sizes of Packout mount plates.
- the narrow one for the narrow boxes
- The regular size for the standard size boxes
- And a double size that will fit a standard Box and the narrow boxes together.
I believe the bags fit the narrow mount plate.

Depends on how many tools I want to carry.
my full time carry is just a 1/4-3/8 combo set mounted in the back of the Jeep. When more tools are required they are in a Milwaukee Packout box attached to the floor plate.

With stories around here, and it’s not that bad, I’d still be worried about someone peeking in and seeing Milwaukee anything. Especially while on the road. Had a whole bed of Milwaukee boxes stolen outside a Home Depot(?) here. Wasn’t in the store 5 mins I was told. I was just shooting the crap with a customer and he told me about that happening locally. Maybe throw a Craftsman sticker over the top.

2nd or 3rd Packouts. Add some creativity for the mounts and tool boxes themselves. I have a mount drilled into a cargo shelf in the rear, to that I connect a small tool box with all recovery gear, a half box with my impact and sockets and another half box with my drone. Both half boxes have foam inserts cut to fit to keep everything from sliding around. Versatile and addicting products.

Always thinking of that so I usually throw a cover over the Milwaukee stuff when parked.
