I’m also interested in this topic if anyone could chime in with their experience with the oem mopar all weather mats, I’m trying to figure out which direction to go weathertech, mopar etc etc and if anyone has suggestions for a trunk liner since I’ve see that mopar one for 2022 MY doesn’t seem to cover the entire area but only between the strap down part, thanks

Check out the Rugged Ridge liners. I'm on my 3rd set in 3 Jeeps and no problems.

I ordered the Mopar OEM when I bought my Jeep. I hate them. I replaced them with the Quadratec ones.. I like the deep tread on them. If water puddles, it goes down between the treads. The Mopar ones leaves you with went pants at the bottom & the mats are slippery. I like the side coverage of weather tech but they don't have deep tread either.

I have weather techs in my current jeep (2007 JKU) for the last 4 years, never really felt that they were slippery. I've been very happy with them and the coverage on the front mats.
UPDATE: The hubby says he think they are a bit slippery . . . so take all this with a grain of salt.

The rear mats I never really felt they laid down the best. They have a good fit but would need some work to lay flat well - but I have no other mats to compare to either in those regards.

I plan on getting the premium set for my new Jeep (once I get it), but debating on doing the full set. However, I may be a little biased as I live about 20 minutes from the manufacturing plant. Buying local and American made! Win-Win!

We went with 3D Maxpider matts for our wrangler. I have the weathertech in my Durango and haven’t been impressed, they are very hard to actually clean and get back to black again. The piece that snaps into the factory locations is actually a separate piece and let’s water through as well.

Anyone happen to know if anyone makes a 1-piece rear for the 2-door JL?

Everything I've seen has been 2-piece (other than some 'generic' product photos that obviously weren't the smaller 2-door version).

Mopar is far better than quad. Hands down. Coming from Alaska with white salt stains on boots.

I have some cheap knock off but as soon as I can buy Mopar Slush mats they are in. Love the drain hole plug and red jeep lettering also.

I typically buy Weathertech mats for all my vehicles. When I got my Jeep, I opted for the the Quadratec mats due to their ruggedness. Over the past 3 years of ownership, the only complaint I have is that the Quadratec logo sticker came off on the passenger side.

As a side note, with Weathertechs, over time the texture would wear down on the spot where my heel would rest. It didn't really affect anything but it was there. The Quadratec mats have held up better. They hold water/melted snow better. I also think they clean up better that the Weathertech mats. I just hit them with the powerwasher and they look like new.

I used to buy WeatherTech mats, but in my WK2 I used the Mopar mats. IMHO SO much better than WT. The WT mats always seemed too slippery when wet, and I could never get them clean enough that they looked black again.

When I bought wifey's JLU, I couldn't get the Mopar mats, so I picked up a set of Rugged Ridge mats for it. Pretty decent actually. Only gripe with them is that they are a bit mis-formed, but I'm hoping that as the weather gets warmer that they'll form better to the floor.

I got a set of Husky liners for mine and sent them back. Same material as the WT, but even worse the passenger side mat didn't fit! Wouldn't even snap into the factory retainers on either of our JLUs.

Still looking for a decent set for mine that I like. I want the Mopar mats, but I don't like the drain in them.

Check out Husky liners. They're made in the USA. I had them for my last vehicle and was very happy with them so I also bought them for my Jeep. The logo isn't obnoxious either.

It depends on what's right for you. Are you worried about melting snow that you want deeper treads for the water to pool? Or do you need something flatter for a more comfortable ride? Do you like logos? I live in Iowa and got these and I like them a lot. They fit perfect and aren't ugly.
