Here is how far the Weathertech mud flaps hang down. Almost even with the metal piece on the frame

Thank you! It is difficult to gauge just how far down they travel. Are you happy with them?

Thanks y’all for this thread, I installed the weathertechs today. They fit perfect and give a serious build look to the Jeep.

After wheeling in the country, I realized how much rocks the big K02s throw at the rear fenders. The PPF did its job but was damaged at 5-6 spots.

So I went back to my PPF guy who replaced the film with thicker one for free. So before it got damaged again, I was looking for a solution.

I reinstalled my Sahara steps, but they look in your face hideous when you are used to look at the Jeep with the rock sliders. I just couldn’t stand their sight. Being 6’1’’ with a grown family of tall people, The steps don’t get used and all they do is dirty our pant legs going in or out of the Jeep. The only time I find the steps useful is when clearing snow off the roof. But one step and I’m standing on the rear tire anyway?‍♂

With this said, I like the look of them. From 3/4 front or rear they are hardly noticeable and I’m sure people following me will appreciate

I will be installing the Sahara steps on my XR when it arrives for my height-challenged SO. Which model of Weathertech mudflaps did you get? The 110100-120100 or 110097-120097 ?

Thanks!

Fits perfect, just have to drill out one extra rivet.
don’t waste your time with trying pop rivet, just follow the directions provided.

In case anyone was curious, I can confirm that these fit with the Rough Country Power Running Boards and there is just under an inch of clearance as the running board moves up and down. The pictures in this thread convinced me to take the gamble and it works perfectly. Also confirming no issues with the XR extensions.
