For years I have asked tow truck drivers what brands they tow the most. It’s alway the European cars first BMW, Audi and Mercedes. The least is always Toyota and Honda.
I guess you have to decide if it’s worth the risk. I haven’t heard at anybody damaging their fender from the mud flaps but I know without them my rear fenders are getting beaten up by rocks.
The center hole needs to be drilled. The weathertech holes are oversized and are oval shaped. I bought the black rivets from Amazon. You will also need a rivet tool to install them.

I installed the Weathertech mud flaps in my xtreme recon rubicon. The only modification that needs to be done is drill an extra hole on the mud flaps. By far the hardest part of the install is removing the metal factory rivets. They have to be drilled out and it works best if you use a large...
I went with white. I was debating between sting, granite and white, and after standing in the dealer lot full of Gladiators, the white stood out more than the grays.
Honestly I’m expecting
1. 2k price increase
2. A couple new colors
3. Standard LED lights
4. New grille
5. Streamline the engine choices, maybe eliminate the 3.6
And that’s about it. The Bronco didn’t have a real negative effect on sales so why change anything.
How long do you plan on owning your Jeep? I had the same dilemma as you and went with the 3.6. I talked to a lot of dealers who have a lot more experience than I do with these engines and most steered me towards the 3.6 and away from the Ecodiesel. That being said I liked how the diesel drove...
I don’t think there will be any major changes except a higher price. Because of the Bronco Jeep was forced to release the 392 and the Xtreme Recon package. I could see Jeep discontinuing the 3.6 and only offering the 2.0. Usually if there are major changes coming you will see spy photos leaked.
I agree but it’s no longer a rumor. BMW is doing it now and Toyota has already said they will be doing it. Some of it makes sense on the auto makers side. They can streamline the assembly line and fit all cars with the same options and then you decide what you want to activate and pay for.
It looks like for 2023 many manufactures are going to start charging monthly for features that were originally included with optional packages. Remote start, navigation, heated seats, etc. I'm sure Stellantis is considering this as well.
