This started recently on mine on the passenger side and it is practically unusable.
Should the dealer fix this?
If not, why?

Hey y Mike, glad to see the the glove technique worked for you! Mine also is still working, so it looks as though its a semi permanent fix! Thanks Dane. I did this exact same thing (even using rubber gloves) and so far no more rattle! I put the rubber in a few areas along the soundbar.
I used thick foam weather strip tape and just shoved it in there with my fingers. Problem solved. Others have mentioned tightening up the speaker mounts; that's a different issue, but I had that too. The rattle against the roll cage cross member is just silly. Jeep should add 5 cents worth of insulation in there from the factory.Hey y Mike, glad to see the the glove technique worked for you! I fixed the same way. Simple, cheap, and it works.I used thick foam weather strip tape and just shoved it in there with my fingers. Problem solved. So, no dealer help on this? It sounded great for the first 10k miles or so. Now it's like my 94 civic.....Happened on mine thought it was a blown speaker so i bought new ones and put them in even tho I knew after ordering them it had to do with the soundbar and the fit. I went ahead and put them in and I gained better sound and no more vibration! Now the steering column, that is a whole other beast! I've read some posts about jamming cardboard into a connector that facilitates the sound transfer from the knee speaker to the column...but at 6'1" and 220 not as easy to contort my body like my younger self could to get under the drivers side dash...UHG!
