I know this is a long shot, but here goes...

I've been chasing a vibrating noise for months. Torn apart most of the dash trying to find it. It only happens for 10-15 minutes after starting the jeep cold. Once the coolant warms up, rattling gone.
I've followed the noise to the coolant lines going into the heater core behind the glove box.

If I pull on the bottom line, sometimes the rattling is dampened a little? It's a sharp rattle like metal on metal.
I've pulled out the actuators and some other stuff trying to get a better look at these lines, but I think I've gone as far as I can.

Does anyone have any experience with this? As far as I can tell the lines aren't touching each other or anything else, but I can't see the full length.

Any help would be super appreciated.

They lines are part of the heater core which is captured inside the HVAC housing. The housing itself should have felt lining it to prevent the heater core from rattling. It sounds like that's what's happening here.

You could go to a dealer and tell them "My heater core is rattling inside my HVAC housing" and they'll either tell you to GTFO or they'll replace it albeit begrudgingly. . It's not an easy repair by any means. If you're already there try shoving some type of felt or other substance between the housing and the exposed side of the core to put pressure on the core. That should stop the rattling.

Edit; didn't see your 2nd post. That's 100% leaking and needs replacing. Aux coolant pump is related to either the turbo or hybrid system depending on what type of wrangler you have. Unrelated to the leak.

There's a *very* good chance you will have other rattles coming out of this repair, so be mindful of that. You have to remove literally the entire dash.

That's a good thought, thanks for the tip. I'll give that a shot.
