Vector Off-road E Dock issue

As a happy German E-Dock user since 2 days, I just something to add to this post:

We modified the instructions concerning the two dashboard covers just a little, put in some "german engineering" and wanted to let you know how it all came out. So instead of throwing the two cover parts away, we cut and grinded them a little and put them back in - looks smoother now - see the pictures:

I saw that post and did the same to mine last week. It really makes it look finishe
Did you notice andy difference to the sensor on the dashboard? Mine reacts slower to the sunlight now that the frame covers it from direct light rays.

I can't say as I have noticed but then again probably not paying much attention. Is that sensor for the auto headlights? If so I haven't driven much past sundown
