I am looking into the Vantrue N4 Pro for my new 2D Jeep Wrangler. How do you like it? It looks bulky..does it stay on the front windshield?

I know this is an old thread but rather than posting a new one... I am also looking into as well as other dash cams. It looks like a solid unit and gets good reviews from folks on here. I wonder if it can be mounted with the bulletpoint mounting system (which I have for my phone) or if it has to be stuck to the windshield. I also wonder about the rear facing camera and it's placement. You probably don't want to stick it to the back window for when you go topless. I'm wondering what others have done for installation in the JL.

I have this dash camera and I’ve gotta say, it works well. I hardwired mine by tapping into my rear view mirror power. It’s mounted on the upper end of the windshield so it doesn’t block my field of view. With this mounting location however the rear facing camera (facing the cabin) is blocked. This doesn’t bother me tho I have that recording turned off

I never installed the rear camera but I did consider mounting it to the rear roll bar somehow so I could still remove my top
