Agreed...I have thought about that a lot. Very good point.

Having a vanity plate has deterred me from getting a PA system placed in my vehicles in the past. I wouldn't be mean, but probably obnoxious and that vanity plate would lead the cops to come a knocking on my door! I will probably get the PA system when I am 70 because then it would be just a lovable quirky Benny Hill type of thing.

I like choosing something about you personally. Everyone knows what you’re driving by looking at it. Then again with all the stuff we do to personalize a jeep it has to be your call. I may laugh at someone’s giant red wheels in my head, but I still give. A jeep wave.

Amazed he got away with it! Saw a Rolls-Royce once with “ IV Q II” ( think Roman numerals) 4 Q 2 , and the censors missed it! Gave me a good chuckle! Personally, I had vanity plates my wife wanted on our 4R for 16 years at an extra $88 per year add it up, Stupid!

After reading this I think the plate should read

“Vain Dndy”

The plate shouldn’t say anything that’s already obvious, i.e. GRNJEEP; or have the word “my” on it, i.e. MYWRNGLR. Come up with something creative. For example, we had originally wanted to order a Gecko Green JLU and the plate was going to say UNRIPE.

Both are fine. I guess if I had a 1941 Jeep and couldn't get ”Jeep 41”, I would would be pissed to find it on a JL. I just got ”65 VAIR” for my Corvair. So I’ll vote for wrangler.
