Nice score, you should be happy w/ that setup, and keeping OEM parts is a good plan. Consider the longer Mopar LCAs too, my steering was great bone-stock, got a bit wander-prone after the Rubi swap, now it's better than even stock w/ the Mopar LCAs, can hold the wheel w/ 1 finger rolling down the hwy :)

Here's my install thread for the Rubi swap and the LCAs if you plan to DIY the install

I just read through it! Thank you! I'm still undecided on how I'm going to get them installed. If the shop I'm working with for my build will do it relatively cheap ill have them do it. If not, guess I may be in for a learning experience one of these weekends!

How was ride quality between Sahara and Rubi? Heard they are the same if not Rubi a bit better.
just a little bit stiffer, but not a very different ride.

I just wanted to give everyone an update. I did end up purchasing a rubicon suspension off of a hardtop and steel bumper JLUR. Recently got them installed and wanted to note 2 things. For one, I gained about a 1/2in in the front fender (36 1/2 to 37in) and about 1/2in the rear (36 3/4 to 37 1/4). While I was hoping for more in the 1in range, still an improvement. Ground clearance to the front dif and rear dif increased a 1/4in and 1/2in respectively. As far as ride quality goes, I have not noticed any difference. Overall maybe not as much height as I was hoping for, however I did get an improved suspension so ill take it.

Do you happen to know the 4 rubicon spring part numbers you installed? I'm surprised that you only gained 1/2"

I figure between 1.75"and 2"....

I believe the rear coils were 90 and 91... off of a steel bumper, tow package 4 door Rubicon...

Looks great!

Yes, this is the expected gain with Rubicon JLU springs installed on a JL.

I was a bit surprised myself as well seeing how most said I should get around an inch. Complete shot in the dark but maybe since I have a D44 rear on a Sahara I had slightly higher coils than a non D44 Sahara. I believe the tags are still on so I'll see if I can crawl under the jeep tomorrow and get them.

You're on to something. It's possible your JLUS started higher, so the difference is only 1/2"

At least you got a 1/2”. I got nothing. Complete rubicon take off suspension from a new JLUR with hardtop, tow package and steel bumpers. Put it on my JLU Sahara (2.0, auto, no tow package) and it stayed right at 36.5” up front. The weird part is I put the Rubi springs next to my Sahara ones and they were 1-1.5 inches taller. Not a clue why it didn’t even lift a millimeter.

My Sahara springs part #’s
Front Driver - 68253658AC
Front Passenger - 68253659AC
Rear Driver - 68253589AA
Rear Passenger - 68253590AA

This is only one number lower each than the Rubicon spring part numbers. Wish I knew what the deal was, I’m about to buy the teraflex spaces to get the 3/4 to 1” lift I was looking for and take it all back apart again to add them.

I've got the D44 in mine and I still got the full inch.

I got mine from a tow package Rubicon . I believe the last digit was 91 and 92 for my spring. I added 1/2 teraflex spacer The here is the picture . The first four are in Order: Front Driver Side - Front Passenger - Rear Driver - Rear Passenger. The last 4 are after the install. Same arrangement
