UConnect App Store icon

Has anyone figured out how to stop the App Store icon from coming back every time you turn on your Jeep? This started happening after the most recent software update. If you tap the icon, it brings you to the App Store. But I can't find the settings for it anywhere. After you exit the App Store, it goes back to showing the AM/FM/SiriusXM/CarPlay media info. Thanks.

It's a bug with the current UConnect version. It's supposed to show the icon when there are new apps available and clear when you go to the Apps screen. The issue 'should be fixed' in the next UConnect software push in early '25. It's annoying, especially for those of us with screen clutter OCD so I feel for you. LoL

I got another update over the weekend. FCA-MY24.U33.43-PROD. Seems to have fixed this issue. Haven't really noticed anything new.

When do Gladiators start getting U33.43 ?

I have this on my 2025 Willy’s 2DR and it comes up once a day on start up. After I tap it it opens the app market and goes away. Then doesn’t happen again until the next morning. When it’s not there the track playing shows instead which is nice.

What can I do do if anything to prevent this garbage from annoying us.

Agreed. I took mine in for service last week and the service advisor mentioned that they did an update on the UCONNECT system while it was there. I just looked at the version and it seems that this version has been out since April 2025. So now I'm wondering if they rolled mine back instead of updating it? It's running U37.23. The last OTA update I remember doing was in Nov 2025.

The only difference I’ve noticed so far is that the stupid App Store icon is back. Doesn’t matter how many times I click it, it doesn’t go away.

Oh yeah, that. That happened to me without a software update believe it or not - it just turned into permanently there after they had server problems with it.

Its all good by me, Stellantis can go eat sh*t for all I care about their app market.

Yeah, me either. The way this works is, there's a bozo Product Owner who thinks they're smart. Eventually he or she will get fired, or she decides she wants to tour every vineyard in Europe and quit. Then this issue will eventually go away, unless they hire another bozo (which they usually do).
