I just saw that my Uconnect 5 had an update, possibly for the first time that I'm aware of. Is there a way to see what has been updated?

Mine updated too while I was getting gas. At the end of the update it asked if I wanted to see changes, I hit yes, but was driving... it said not avaliable while in motion, and closed the message.

I can't find the message since 🤷‍♂️

I just got the update notification. But wasn’t connected to WiFi so it didn’t update.

Here's the What's New message that I got

PXL_20250802_171212784.MP.jpg
Okay, I called Uconnect about this and was told that updates are VIN specific and that I had the latest update. I told her about other people on the forum receiving the U37.23 update. To which she replied that it wasn't for the two door Rubicon, just four door Jeeps. I said "Well, my Gladiator has four doors and it didn't get the update."

Now I'm gonna call back in my best 4yo voice and cry "BUT BILL GOT THE UPDATE! He has a 2024 two door Rubicon just like me. Why does Bill get the update and I don't?" There will be holding of breath and stomping of feet! :giggle:

@JeepCares I already got the two phone numbers for Uconnect. I called them both.

Does anyone possibly have the files I can download and manually install?

@JeepCares nothing personal, but please pass this on if you can.

For the second time since I got the Jeep it decided to do an update when I stopped for gas on a long trip. This disabled navigation for the next 3 hours but also climate control. It was 99-104F on the trip. I rebooted the radio a number of times and it exhibited various degrees on unresponsiveness but never fully worked until I did about three sleep cycles.

What fucking clown writes this stuff. Where it forces an update when you are using the Jeep. With no choice to refuse or defer the update. Which then disables critical functions until you spend a couple of hours fucking around with the radio to get things working again. Even the update knows it is broken - 'connected services may not work for 24 hours'. Monkeys with a typewriter could do better than this. No other major automobile manufacturer that I know of has such a poorly thought out and executed way of delivering updates.

I think my 2 door JLR got updated. The radio said it was updating as I turned the Jeep off before heading into the store. When I came out, it said update was successful but I see nothing different from what I had before.
I love tech, but as I age, it is harder to keep up with it. I have become less tech savvy so its likely I’m missing it entirely.
Driving the JLR Seems more like driving a laptop on wheels rather than the visceral feel I got from driving the 04 TJ Rubicon…minus the death wobble 😂😂😂.

I saw this update was released a few weeks ago while looking at TSBs. I had just did a factory reset because CarPlay was being CarPlay. I was in the midst of waiting for everything to come back like off-road pages /adventure guides. As soon as I saw that was back it notified me of the update. Let it update while I was doing some shopping. Only changes I’ve noticed is the off-road pages and adventure guides is slightly very slightly different and I’m not getting any pop ups over and over again for the same thing after I cancel them out.
Thing that gets me is I thought updates were OTA over a WiFi connection? Was not the case here at all.

I too got the U37 update on my 2025 JL. I was hoping it will fix the issue of phone/navigation/media volume settings not being saved in every restart. No luck. Have to reduce the individual volumes in every restart - so frustrating.
