I hid mine up in the black and it works fine, you can’t even see it from outside. You could drop the windshield to make it easier to get up there.

I put mine in the lower right-hand corner (passenger side). Was going to put it behind my review mirror, however that is where I have my gopro mounted...

I have my tolltag located on the lower left (driver side) window right next to my inspection sticker. No problems at all.
