Did you get this sorted out?Good tip. I’ll have to remove the BCM and see if the connector is still pinned with some wire exposed, and then a solder sleeve would be a great idea. Looks like the BCM is held in by 2 easily accessible bolts.
I got mine installed and am happy with them. The light on the passenger side is right on the horn so a bit of an unfortunate placement there. Also, after battling the fender liner looking for the turn signal connector I am convinced the smarter play would have been from the engine bay since the connector is closer to the firewall and is reachable from the bay... especially given that it can be unhooked from the chassis clip it resides on. Oh well.
Over all I like them. Hope you got yours up and running.
