Good job. when they retrofitted that house and removed the candleholders and put in electricity when offroad vehicles were horse drawn, they used cotton covered wire.

Well this statement really sent me on a mission today.

For those curious I did track down a photo and you can see utility poles connected to the houses so no retrofit necessary. I had electricity from day 1!

Now after that side tangent it's back to Jeep batteries.

Battery is reading 12.86V after sitting disconnected for about 10 hours. Will check again tomorrow around 8AM.

Battery at 12.82V this morning. So I think I should be good to go to hook up the charger again once my eyelet adapter and 30ft cord arrive.

I'll keep a better eye on it this time and not just leave it for 2 months assuming all is well.

So the 30ft cord was not enough to run from the original location. The only closer location required running the cord along the ceiling of the garage with plastic clamps and some drywall screws. So that's what I did.

The Jeep is hooked up now and charging away.
