Tread Lightly Question, Please

OK, just found out from Jeep chat today that all parts were gathered for my build. Ordered 1/22 However I totally forgot to sign up for TreadLightly, until this morning. Question, I know you have to wait 30 days. But is that from the time you sign up online or once you receive the welcome packet?

I recieved a digital copy of the welcome letter last year, and it backdated the "Original Join Date" to the date I paid. Specifically says that's the date that starts the 30 day timer:

That's a good question. I signed up on 1/17, the same day I placed my JL order and as of today (3/7) have not received my packet. I did receive a welcome e-mail last week stating that I should have received the packet by then, but if not to notify them which I did and she stated they would send another asap.

FYI, all parts gathered is D1, so your dealer should have an approximate ship date for you.

Mine has been in transport a month, shipped a month ago now. I thought I might get it before my Tread Lightly came through, but whew, I made it, haha.

Not a direct answer to your question but more of an FYI for anyone with the question that I had last week pertaining to the TL expiration date.​

I joined TL last March when I was getting ready to order. Decided to wait on a color that I liked if I was going to spend $60K+ on a vehicle.​

Well the color I like (Gobi) just became available last Friday.​

TL membership expires on the 15th.​

I called FCA Affiliate Rewards and Tread Lightly on Friday to see if I need to renew my membership.​

The good news is NO. As long as your membership is active all you need to do is go onto the Affiliate Rewards website and get your control number. That number is good for the calendar year in which issued.​

Broken down my TL membership expires March 15th, my control number is valid until December 31st.​

Hope this is beneficial info for other members that may be in the same boat I was.​

I like your optimism lol. You'll have plenty of time to frame your Tread Lightly letter with a frame that was on backorder.

If a dealer is only offering .5% instead of 1% on the tread lightly, does that mean they are getting 1.5% from Jeep? I thought both buyer and dealer received the 1%.
