Is this transmssion temperature normal in these temperatures? This was after about a 15 remote start & 11 minutes of driving. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum :like:
In park the transmission will not heat much.
I do not know what are the operating temperature range but I know it can take a while before it stop climbing.

When it’s cold outside the transfer case takes a while to get to the mid/high hundreds. For remote start warmup/15 min driving this looks normal.

What engine do you have? I’m curious because on the 3.6 the oil pressure is ~30 psi for steady operation.

Trans temp is OK, but oil pressure looks a bit low. Is 16psi oil normal on a 2.0?
Normal.

Takes a while to warm up.

Normal operating temperatures on these seems to be anywhere 180-195 when fully warm, and I've read 220 as the high end of the range.

Wheeling/crawling on obstacles in Moab I didn't see over 205 trans temp on a warm (90+ degree) day with my 2.0/8-speed. The 850RE is really good at managing temps, it seems.

In 2HI and when proceeding to steady state driving on asphalt, the 850RE in my 2.0T JLU warms up comparatively slowly...much more so than do the coolant and oil temperatures, and particularly during the winter months. What I see in the OP's photos does seem safely proportionate to the warm-up and drive times that he mentions.

Why is the oil pressure so low?
It isn't low.

The OP has a 2.0T, which uses a multi-stage oil pump. Pressure is proportionate to demand. During acceleration, it might increase and maintain 48 PSI, and then settle back down to between 16-18 PSI during steady-state cruising. The pump's functioning also has a beneficial, if rather mild, effect on average fuel economy.

This is why the oil pressure trends in the 2.0T-equipped Jeeps shouldn't be benchmarked against the same in the Pentastar, and vice versa. No poll necessary. ;)

Once up to temp, you will run at 200 on the trans.

Oil pressure will be around 20psi up to about 2500 rpms, and then will be at about 50psi. Very normal

Transmission is going to hover close to 200 once actually warm. I’ve never seen a wrangler have that low of oil pressure idling cold or hot.

For 2.0L yes, on idle it is less than 20 psi but as you step on gas, it climbs up into 50s even at 2000-2500 rpms. unlike the 3.6l which would be at 29-30 psi below 3000rpm and goes up to 70s over 3000 rpms.

83 psi is the highest I see on my 3.6 when I floor it
