I have a 2020 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara mild hybrid with the 8 speed automatic. August 2 I had my front end aligned at my tire dealer. When finished they could not get it into reverse. They pushed it out of the bay. I got in and after a few minutes managed to get it into Drive and drove straight to the dealer. The same thing happened there. It had to be pushed into service. It has been at the dealer since August 2. Why? The transmission "valve body" failed. They tried to get a replacement and manged to find one but it arrived broken out of the box. They found a second and it too arrived broken out of the box. After the two broken parts, at about the second week of September I was told "ETA for the new part next week" for 6 straight weeks. All in all it has taken 12 weeks to get it fixed!!!!!! I get supply chain issues. I get the disruption to just in time production. But essentially 3 MONTHS. WTF???? Jeep should be ashamed. I'll never get nor recommend another and I actually liked it till August 2.

NO way two consecutive valve bodies were received broken.

Sounds like an inept buffoon was working on your transmission.....

Yeah, that’s too many parts arriving broken.

Either those parts are made of glass, or the fingers of the dealer techs are made of lead.

It's really hard to "break" a valve body before it's installed into the transmission.

no way, they’re quite delicate. I have twice received valve bodies from Ford for a 6R80 that were old used parts in a new box.

weird shit happens.
