Opinions and advice strongly encouraged.
The [first video] is my old transmission slipping between 3rd and 4th gear. I do not have a video of this, but the transmission would clunk and JOLT into reverse. It has been nearly 12 whole weeks without my jeep, fighting to get this thing replaced. Well, it's been replaced! What a relief! Right??
Yesterday I noticed it clunked into reverse, no physical jolting. I've also noticed [second video] the RPMs maintaining around 2500 for a lot longer than any other gear shift while driving. WTF? Is it not catching at the right speed to shift into 4th? It's not slipping, but it's different than any other gear shift.
I have 3 years or 100k miles warranty for the new trans. If I take it back to the dealer I KNOW they'll tell me it's operating as designed. Just as they did with old trans slipping.
