Good to hear that things are looking up. Did the dealership give you a final explanation re: the cause?

There are some experienced members on the forum who long for the old days when Jeeps were less complex vehicles. One can understand their views. No one wants to have issues like these when you are miles away from civilization.

Yes, I have a tj and used to have another also. So easy to work on and never fails on you

The shop is not the dealership but they work for the dealership on the most complex issues tha my come up for Jeep, Ram, dodge. He even told me the service dept at the dealership right across the street would have been clueless

What was the issue?

Internal short in the PCM. Replaced PCM and all good after a lot of testing! Now it’s my turn to test!

Took it wheelin tonight and it did great! Plenty of rock crawling and bouncing around to test it good.
I’m super happy now!!!
