Mine comes off super easy!

Bought the Jeep brand-new and the first time I went to shift into Low Range, the knob slid right off the shaft. Seems that someone on the assembly line forgot to tighten the set screw...

Can the transfer case lever be rotated towards the center of the Jeep? I didnt have as much of an issue with my 6spd JL, but on my Automatic Gladiator I am always resting my leg on the stock transfer case knob. Thanks

My first thought was “Why did you want to pull it off?”.

Now I see. That looks great.

Btw, slightly off-topic, but my transfer case shifting has really slicked up in 4K miles.

I run through all 3 gears almost every morning.

It’s still tight, but I reckon that’s a good thing.
