@CarbonSteel

I wouldn’t mess with anything other than ZF/OEM.

Blauparts is a top notch company and they typically specialize in selling Ravenol products which are also top notch.

Eurol is regarded as decent in Europe typically made in the Netherlands which has good quality controls.

With all of that said, I would only use Mopar filters and either ZF Lifeguard 8 or 9 fluid or Mopar 8 & 9 fluid only in these transmissions.

Here is a post I created detailing the how to:

Thanks for the advice. I was leaning towards ZF/Mopar parts but this popped up when I was searching for a kit.

What about the fluid in the converter and valve body?

More expensive than the ZF fluid that Carbon posted, but looks like the best price I found on the Mopar stuff was Rock Auto.

I went with @CarbonSteel links and ordered the fluid and filter. Haven’t decided if I will do multiple changes yet. If it takes 5 1/2 quarts that’s a little over half of capacity. I may let it ride like that for another 60k. Looks like his UOA was good on the factory fill and leads me to believe changing just the pan fluid will be ok.

Do you recall what torx size was needed for the pan bolts and the drain plug were used?
The fill/drain plug is a 8mm hex (allen style), the pan bolts are a Torx and <edit> it is a T40.

The fill/drain plug is a 10mm hex (allen style), the pan bolts are a Torx and I want to say it was a T25 (could be a T35). I can check that one and let you know.
@Stuckinthesand - you need a T40 Torx for the pan bolts. Retorque to 10-12nm (I went to 11). The fill plug is an 8mm hex (not 10mm as I stated above).
