I have several people in my family that have Wranglers and in the past year I have bought 2. The one I traded in I can still track on the Jeep app. If you don’t want to be tracked how can you stop it. I read somewhere that you have to remove the telematics module. Has anyone tried this?

Interesting that you can still track the one you traded in. At the very least, you'd think that dealers would reset things like this. (I know, I know...)

Let's say I got divorced (not happening!) and my ex-wife got the Jeep. I could track her if I wanted to? I don't know how they'd fix it, but Jeep, and probably other manufacturers, need to implement something to remedy this.

I could see some potential lawsuits at best, and worse things happening at worst...

I have that problem. I traded in a Gladiator last year and still have it show up in my Jeep app. I have tried to figure out how to delete it but haven’t found out how to yet.

You can call, DM, or email @JeepCares and they will remove the vehicle.

If you have a vehicle you want off your app call the customer service number to have it removed 800-777-3600. Took a few minutes

I removed the module on my 2024. It was very easy to do. I used a jumper for the satellite antenna for the Sirius XM. It messed up the location on the map on my phone for a little while until the backup battery was depleted.

I managed to finally figure it out; apparently the Jeep Connect portal that the mobile app is based on (https://connect.jeep.com/us/en/dashboard) and the Mopar Owner's portal (https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/dashboard.html) are two entirely separate things.

To remove the vehicle from your app:
1. Go to https://connect.jeep.com/us/en/dashboard, login with the same account you used for your app.
2. Click on 'Wrangler' on the top left of the dashboard home view.

3. Click on 'GO TO MY GARAGE >'.

4. All your Jeeps on the mobile app should show up here. Click 'Remove' on the one you no longer have, and you'll need to click on another confirmation pop-up to remove it.

If done correctly, you should get an email from Jeep within 1-2 minutes confirming the vehicle is removed from your Jeep Connect profile, and the Jeep mobile app should indicate there was an update to your profile and no longer show that removed vehicle.

You can definitely call the 800 number mentioned in the prior post to get the support staff to remove it, but it's a crab shoot in my personal experience; you'll need to explicitly call out that this vehicle is still on your Jeep Connect app for them to remove it correctly, otherwise they might update your Mopar profile instead, which will not remove it from your app.
