Track bar snapped

I believe this would be the track bar, correct me if I'm wrong pls. It snapped like a twig during an episode of death wobble at 60mph. Pretty scary the whole rig hopped to the left when it happened.

anyone else have this happen?

I'm glad everyone is alright. I had death wobble one time in my TJ. I was driving maybe 35 mph, it scared the daylights out of me. Your death wobble must have been violent for that to come apart. My old heart can take that.

Looks like maybe the top part of the break had a weak section possibly. Manufacture defect maybe. First time with death wobble on the jeep? If that failed prior to DW it would definitely cause DW.

The death wobble came first. I dont know for sure but my best guess is the DW fatigued the track bar until it gave out.

I would recommend a JKS track bar, can't beat the price and it's adjustable. If you want the stock one off my 22 just pay shipping.

Thank you! Id take you up on it however I just bought one on ebay last night. Ill look into the JKS track bar when I replace the other suspension components..
