I read on the leaked JL owners manual that the TPMS can be shut off if it detects no sensors after a short drive and then restarted. Have any of you new owners of the JL tried this?

On my Sahara, I just put on new wheels and tires. When I had it done, they had to re-order another wheel because one was scratched so I left that tire and wheel at the shop and it had one of my TPM sensors. When I left, the passenger front TPMS showed blank with a red bar indicating there was no reading on the dash. When I went back yesterday to have the job finished, I had all my sensors with the same error issue.

Now when you drive the JL for approx 20 minutes, the sensors will automatically determine their position and pressure. Mine kicked in and became normal after about 15 minutes. So the system didn't necessarily shut off for me it just showed the blank no reading. Then when I drove, it reset itself.

I have not tried it yet still waiting for my JL to get built. I was hoping to use no tire pressure sensors. There just a pain in the rear!!!

What pressure does it like?

What happens when you go to 35s or 37s and run lower pressure.

What happens when you deflate, but are in 4 high? Then 4 Low?

What pressure does it like? If it’s like the JK probably 31 or 32psi.

What happens when you go to 35s or 37s and run lower pressure. If you’re running lower than the recommended PSI (which you have to when running big tires) it will trip the id10t light on the dash.

What happens when you deflate, but are in 4 high? Then 4 Low? It doesn’t matter if you’re in either 4HI our 4low, it will still show the warning light.
