So I got new wheels and tires installed a few weeks ago and for whatever reason the sensors kept dropping tire pressure. It would just show dashes. I took it back to the shop today that installed my wheels and tires and they put brand new aftermarket sensors in. They told me after 100-200 miles of driving the sensors will reset and they should work as intended after that. Right now the back 2 show nothing and the fronts appear to be working. I was wondering if you guys can confirm if this is correct or not. It just seems a little weird to me that they aren’t working now but I’m not super knowledgeable about this and didn’t want to question the shop owner when I picked it up without knowing what I’m talking about.

Well these aren’t the replies I was hoping for lol. Now I’m not really sure what to do. The fronts seem to be working fine but the backs are just dashes. I’ve only driven maybe 20 miles since they were installed so maybe I’ll go for a drive today and see what happens.

Mine did the same thing, after a day or two they both popped up within 20 seconds of one another.

I’ll give it some time then before I go in there and ask them to fix it again lol. I’m just impatient and hate that light on the dash. I don’t drive much during the week so I have barely given it a chance to reset. Tomorrow will be a 50+ mile day so fingers crossed!
