Love mine. Little pricey but easy to remove and store.

Does anyone know if the "standard" TopLift Pro works with a JLUR-XR? I was looking to order one and saw that the make a TLP with "inserts" for "lifted vehicles". I wouldn't consider a OEM JLUR-XR to be lifted per se, but who knows :headbang:

The TPL is made for most lifted Jeeps. I have Mopar lift that netted my Jeep 3.25 to 3.50 lift with 35's

No issue removing my top.

I had a TLP which I sold before even assembling. I'd go with the rollingjack probably, and will do so next time I buy one. I'm sure it's easy but the TLP looked like a PITA to set up, tons of pieces and at some point I either lost or didn't get a specific part in the box. I'm sure I lost it.

When I sold it we had one missing part and TLP was a nightmare to deal with. I get its a small shop but it took us weeks if not longer to get that missing part to put it together. That's actually one of the reasons I never put it together. That was a big reason why I sold it, I got sick of dealing with TLP and not getting responses to my emails or getting hand wavy responses. Eventually (weeks/months) the buyer got it put together. I'm pretty sure they gave him crap for buying it used, too.

Sorry to hear that. My experience was very good. Took laptop to garage and played how to set up video from their website and set TPL up in 30 mins. Parts went together easy and I have to say I am very happy with mine.

Like all things you have to put together some issues happen.

Just my 2 cents on the TPL is its easy to assemble and great to remove and store my hardtop.

Same thing with the other company tbo... still waiting on responses here for my RnJ questions/issue. Both are compromised designs. Maybe they should design a 3rd option that will fix the flaws of the other two lol.

I'm just going to convert to a ceiling hoist of some sort I think. With two Wranglers here its becoming a chore to store both hardtops, doors, associated jeep crap, etc. Need more space I guess.

Bumping an old thread.. Did anyone with a TopLift Pro go from a stock height to lifted? I know TLP sells a kit for lifted Jeeps, but it isn't listed separately for purchase. Worried that when I eventually lift it, the TLP won't be tall enough.

Plus for the RollnJack is it lists a high amount of adjustment in the height.

Looking to see what the total height is with the hardtop on the TLP. I have a spot in my garage but it is limited in height. The intent is to be able to have the TLP high enough so I can drive my JL underneath it, but low enough so that it doesn't hit the shelves.

I ha e the RollNJack.. I love it. Makes things so easy.. I can have my jeep fully naked by myself in about 15 or 20 minutes.. and yes.. it works for lifted jeeps.. I have a 3 inch lift on 35's and it's no problem

For either system, when not being used, how much room do they take up against the garage wall? I would need to be able to store on the back wall of my garage and have my jeep backed in?
That’s how I store mine all of the time, even with it holding the top. Simply park underneath it.
That’s where TooLift has an advantage- being able to close the glass makes it 2-3 feet smaller horizontally. Mothers back too lift wheels go to the wall.

I have 37s with a 2.5 lift and it would work with 40s on a 3.5” lift. Definitely would work on n an XR
