So I just installed rubicon springs (59/60 & 90/91) and shocks on my 2018 Sport. Got about 1.5" all the way round with a 3/4" spacer up front.

I am looking to confirm that I would be able to run Rubicon size tires (285/75/17) with sway bar disconnected off road without concern of rubbing. Can anyone confirm that?

Thank you,

I’m running Rubi wheels with KO2’s on my stock JL Sport S without any lift and have zero clearance issues. If your ‘18 is a JL you’re fine. If a JK, I dunno.,

The rubicon fenders is what allows it to not rub while disconnected. Need to find out the fender height difference compared to your spacers

On the stock 7.5 +44 offset wheels running the 285s you may have inner contact at full flex. Seems that most that run stockers end up getting wheel spacers to keep from having contact issues.

285/75/17 are about an inch taller than stock Rubicon tires which are 285/70/17s.

Given the same 2018 sport with rubicon springs and shocks, should I be able to run rubicon take offs (285/70/17) with sway bar disconnected without rubbing?

Thanks
