Don't agree. If all you are doing is a tire change you aren't under the vehicle.
It's just a habit of mine. Any hydraulic lift or jack is designed to to raise a load not hold it. Sure, it's just quick tire change but I like to be on the safe side whenever and wherever I can. And I highly recommend people to do the same.

I’ve done 4 tire rotation for all my Jeeps over many years.
if you do five they get to sell you five tires.
if you rotate four when it comes time to buy tires you buy four, but put your spare on as one of the four and a newly purchased one as spare. Now for the guys that have all kinds of disposable income and change wheels and tires when they want it really doesn’t matter. That’s ok do your thing. Capitalism at work. It’s what makes the world go around.
If you are getting 20% more life out of your tires and a fifth tire equals 20% of total cost for five tires that would equal the same dollar amount, why would that have anything to do with disposable income or capitalism. Just curious as your logic seems to have no sense to me. .
