I ran 15psi on stock wheels without any issues. I did burp air from one of my tires in a very technical rock garden once, but it only dropped to about 13psi.

Now I have Method Bead Grips and am happy about 8-10 psi, depending on the terrain, how much gear, and how many people are in my Jeep. I'd be tempted to go lower with bead locks, but I haven't found the need yet.

25psi isn't even aired down, despite what tfl might tell you. That's the cold pressure I set our tires to fit the street. They'll warm up to about 28-29psi on the street. The trails you mention I'd go down to 15psi. When we were in telluride we didn't air back up between trails. You can drive for short stints on the road at 15psi no problem. In moab I usually do the same. I'm not airing up and down 20 times over a week, no need. Mud, sand, snow I'll go down to 10psi without beadlocks. Airing back up for the road is necessary when you go that low. Telluride area trails aren't challenging so you don't need to go any lower for traction. Moab slickrock offers so much traction you don't need to go real low unless it's wet out.
Thank you I’m coming up from Mississippi in July I will take all the advice I can get I am very much looking forward to visiting the Ouray area

12-15 psi for non-beadlocks, with locks as low as she lets me go, depends on what im trying to go up and I always air up before i hit pavement
Had to wait on a guy on a trail a few weeks ago that de-beaded his beadlocked tires. Always remember that they're not locked on the back side and they definitely can come off.

I adjusted my Staun's to 15psi in theory but once I air down they are all at different psi ranging from 12-17. I've tried resetting them 3 times and still one is always super low and one is very high. Have you ever had issues with yours or any tips to get them all set the same?

Double check that those trails will be open at that time. Depending on the winter they may not open until some time later in the year.

I set all of my Staun's using my spare tire. Much easier to do standing up in one place rather than hovering over all 4 tires.

My indicated pressures are always within one or two psi of each other.

Oh that's way smarter. I'm going to do that.

I’ll be there the last week of July
You'd be surprised how long it can last. Note, who knows if they'll open Black Bear again, it was closed all last year.

Like Zach mentioned no need to air up, just be careful and take million dollar highway slow if you're aired down.

You'll want to combine the passes into loops, so you end up back in Ouray without having to take the highways. Services are spread out, stay topped off whenever you pass a station. Recommend off-line navigation and comms.

15 is much better than 25 and still pretty safe.
Yeah, 25 seems high... hell some larger tires, in my case 37x12.5x17... seem to chalk test at not much higher than 25... I believe mine were 28 or so. Still experimenting with trail pressure, but I would say it varies on the terrain, vehicle and load (among many other factors)... so considering this, an "all in one" tire pressure of 25 doesn't seem practical. I would definitely say air down to accommodate the situation. Honestly (not criticizing) I really wouldn't consider 25psi as "airing down".
