I think someone took a BB gun to my hard top side glass. I was parked by a river fishing and never saw anyone near my Jeep but of course I was fishing and not always in line-of-sight. The road was fairly busy and it's possible it was a thrown rock. But the strike is too symmetrical ... I was parked parallel to the road so a thrown rock would not have hit the side panel perpendicularly.

Anyway...are there any lessons learned others have regarding side panel glass replacement? Expected cost? I have a Rubi-X with the body colored top and the MOPAR extra sound deadening.

I'd start with Safelite just to see what they say. Dealer is going to be a serious butt Fu$k price wise.

Sucks this happened. Doesn't sound like a rock to me.

Safelite (Buford GA) did a great job of replacing the glass with MOPAR glass. You have to ask for OEM glass and I'm glad I did to completely match the other side. Took them only one hour and they started on time for my appointment. They went out of their way to call me the night before confirming they'd have the part since I was a decent drive away. And they had no trouble letting me confirm the part # before installation. The part # for the MOPAR glass is 68291709AC (2024 2 dr hard top, driver side). I think the passenger side would be a different part given where the numbers are on the glass. Total was $609 which was $99 labor above the part + fees. Reasonable I thought. (Well the $99 was reasonable...everything is relative these days). Would use this shop again.
