For reference I have a 19, JLU sport S 2.0 (M220 rear)

So I'm picking up a set of 37 KO2s after work today for a smoking deal. Im concerned about the lift vs tire size and having trouble deciphering all the noise. Here is what im thinking would work.

Factory JLUR springs (3.6 plastic) + 2.5 spacer should put me at 3.5ish and with the KO2s running a bit small im thinking ill be right there. Ill grab some adj lowers and be set. (factory wheel and spacer for now)

BUT.... I keep rolling this around on whether it will sit too low for major rub (minor at full stuff is ok)
OR...Will this be really too much lift due to the smaller 37 BFG?

(REGEAR will be in my future im aware)

Any thoughts or pics to help me out over here?

You didn’t mention what shocks you will be running ? Also you’ll likely be at or over 3.5” of lift, so your axles are gonna shift almost an inch…adjustable track bars should be on your list….

Not sure on shocks yet, still mulling over the clearance situation. Trackbar - Good call

If you use Rubi shocks you’ll need to use shock extensions otherwise they’ll be too short.. you need 3-4 inch shocks in whatever brand you get…… the clearance issues can be controlled with bump stop…. But you need to figure out your shocks before dialing in clearance…

Got ya,
Not sure how shocks play into fender/tire space. But ya, I'm undecided - not sure if 8-900 dollar shocks are that much better than rubis with extensions. She will be 90% road driven

When you set up your bump stop for tire clearance, you also are setting your bump stop up for the shocks so they don’t bottom out…..

I have a visual for you of what 37" KO2's look like on Clayton Offroad 2.5" Overland lift. I gained a little over 3" in lift. Your sport doesn't have the high line fenders, so you probably won't see this much room between top of tire and fender. But here's a visual for you of what it could look like with 2.5 to 3" lift.

Give you a couple picks for reference on a Sport S with Rubi flares. This is with a mopar 2” lift and 3/4” spacer in front to level. It gained about 3.5” in front.

with Nitto 37 RGs

To be honest, I miss them both haha. Especially in fall weather running no top and half doors.

Correct me if im wrong - The Mopar 2" number is based on stock Rubi - In other words its more like 3.5, or +2' on an already 1.5 higher Rubicon.

I like the rubi rear flares, but for some reason the highline fenders look off to me on the front...I think its the space between the tire and fender.

Im sure its needed but it always looks like too much. The rear looks perfect. Maybe I'm a wierdo...

Correct on Mopar 2” lift. The extra space provides room to stuff the front wheel when articulating. It could be angle of these pics as well, not as noticeable on this one
