Another CX5. Test drove them against the crv and rav4 and its by far the best pick. Thats what my mother ended up getting and loves it. Cherokee wouldnt even be on the list lol.

We ordered a 23 Summit Reserve, it was in the shop most of the time with computer glitches. TMPS would loose connection every time you started it, seats never kept the memory, radio station would change but screen wouldn't, third row power seats were intermittent and many other single issue problems. The dealer couldn't fix any of the issues and told us they were waiting on FCA to come up with a solution. We traded it on a 24 GMC Yukon Denali after 8 months.

Go in knowing that it’s a 2yr old “new” car and the price should reflect that. IF the price is right (basically meaning the dealer has eaten the depreciation) and equipped as wanted, go for it,

I’d find a low mile previous gen Grand Cherokee. They are solid, proven vehicles.

Not a Rav4 but my 05 4R went 16 years 210K mi with few problems, but began self destruct with multiple issues at that time….
Bought a 21 Wrangler that I know will far exceed 210K mi before I have issues with it 😁
Was that 210k or 210. 😁

Agree- my 15 has been solid , but the shifter sux, (likely what got us Auto Park) they went back to a normal gated position shifter in 17, I think , but I would check. When the Auto Park recall was added I now have a touchy sucky shifter, but I’m used to it.

We really like our 2019 Cherokee. It has a possible oil filter adapter leak at 40k on the 3.2L, but I suspect that's due to improper filter installs at the dealer.
