If (like me) you post something dumb and it’s pointed out, a simple follow up reply of “Doh!” or a slightly longer reply of “LOL you’re right, I‘m a dumbass” usually does the trick. Or you can refuse to say you were wrong and cry that people are mean.

When I try to be mean, my wife straightens my ass out in a hurry. She's scary sometimes. Is it still being mean if she's right?

If I created a new account every time I got called out for saying something stupid, I’d have run out of burner email addresses a long time ago.

We are on the east coast Vero Beach so should be ok. Where are you in FL?
I’m in Punta Gorda, 2hrs south of Tampa. Depending on steering currents, we’re possibly going to have Milton knocking on our front door. The entire coastline is already in distress from Helene. Siesta Key (Sarasota) had 4 feet of storm surge, albeit Helene not making landfall until 150 miles further up the coast.
luckily, we live around 15 miles inland. Predictions of localized 30” of rainfall through Central FL will make this a widespread mess. The rivers will crest to new heights on both sides of the state.

My folks live in St. Petersburg and I lived there for 40 years and I've never seen such destruction. The storm hit very far away in the big bend, but the storm surge inundated coastal Pinellas County. There were literally boats everywhere even smashed into buildings.

If Milton hits St. Pete it'll be very unfortunate.

Oh Please! I bought a brand new 2021 Sahara and that I4 blew a head gasket in the first 10K miles with light driving by my wife. Taking delivery tomorrow of a Willys with the V6. Should of put that in the Sahara. Got rid of that Sahara after a year and the aggregation of the dealer having it for 12 weeks to replace a head gasket...I no longer trust the I4.....
How does a blow a head gasket at 10 K? That’s crazy!

You must be new to Jeep.... I'm on waiting on a backordered transmission at 28K and I know how to drive manual as my Civic has 280K on the original clutch.

Indeed!! Evacuations are in full swing. The interstate going north is bumper to bumper. Boarding up the house tomorrow. Early storm impacts are expected by Tuesday afternoon, with a predicted Wednesday evening landfall. Wishing your family the best of Luck!!

My folks are staying as they always have. I live over in Melbourne and family back home has an open invitation to come over. If Milton looks like it is coming, on Tuesday I'll run over and board up my parents house and head back to Melbourne Tuesday evening.

Yes very new, still haven’t purchased yet! Those are the only concerns I have where it comes down to getting one. Seems like it’s better to swap it for something ore reliable than whatever’s coming from the factory…😭

We wish you all the best! With these events, the topic of this thread, and most others for that matter, seem so irrelevant. Stay safe, and good luck! 🙂

I love my Wrangler, it is a blast to drive and I pull full sized pickups out all the time. That being said, Jeep isn't known for their reliability. My Jeep is in the garage waiting for a transmission, but then I have a Honda to take to work.
