So this morning I found and start my Jeep to warm it up and when I closed the door this fell out from under the Jeep. I think from the engine bay area. Any ideas of what it is. Thanks for your input.

It goes on the firewall, look by the brake booster. I believe manual vehicles have the clutch master cylinder instead of this plug.

That is the firewall feedthru plug. Look under the dash with your hood open. It will be located on the left side of your brake pedal and up about a foot near the outside of the Jeep. This plug gets drilled through for a lot of wiring installations that need to come into the Jeep. It will go right back by twisting it. If you look from the outside of your Jeep with the hood open, you can see the hole pretty easily on the outboard side of where the brake booster would be.

I should note that this gets installed from the outside through the hood not through the floorboard access.

@chevymitchell is correct. It is a firewall grommet/plug. Easy to put back in and you definitely want to put it in or you'll have a nice open hole in your engine bay to your feet. Just look at the firewall in front of the steering wheel from the engine bay and you'll see the hole. Once you line it up, just turn it to lock it back in-place. Be careful doing it or you'll snap the little tabs and have to push it in manually and probably secure it some other way

Dood it's the satellite radio fluid cap. Probably too late and all your radio oil has leaked out. Guess you'll be stuck on AM for a while until you get that fixed.

Man I got lucky and still had all my radio fluid . Put the cap back on and now I'm good to go.
