Third Row Seat JL Wrangler

I recently installed a JL seat from a two door wrangler, into my four door and it’s amazing. Used the third row seat brackets for a JK and they do fit the JL seats. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Its been done a few times in here. Put your flame suit on due to no crash testing being done.

Personally, I wouldn't be willing to risk my loved ones safety for it.

While I agree. You can’t really say this and in the same breath drive a jeep which has crash protection that was an afterthought lol

That’s a clean install. I approve only on the basis that it makes my JLU look a bit less like a minivan than yours.

One thing i noticed in those other post was that one seat was aftermarket and the second post used a JK rear seat, mine is different because i used a JL seat so everything matches and looks factory.

I have seat belts for it, but i have not installed them yet. I will make sure to include pictures of the install.

Your Jeep. Do what you want with it. Am I completely against it, yes. Not because of safety, but because it just shouldn't be done. Not everyone agrees with what I do with my Jeep either.

I have to agree. You do you, but no way would I put people (let alone small kids) into a space that is designed to be a crumple zone on a rear impact.

I total agree with you on the safety aspect. No argument. However, I'd like to point out the third row he installed looks just like the second row in a 2-door, in terms of position, cargo space, and distance from the tailgate.....

I wouldnt do it but I have to say it is a clean install.
