Have you ever ridden in a Jeep with 4" of lift and 37" tires? I am just asking because you are signing up for some pretty significant on-road compromises in my opinion and you may want to consider 35" tires with 2-2.5" lift. That is a pretty good look for someone who is not going off-road much.
This. When people, particularly pavement pounders, say they wanna slap massive tires and lift on a rig, I tell them to ride in a similarly modified rig first to see what that does to ride and driveability.

Ever wonder why there's plenty of freshly lifted, newer Wranglers back on dealer lots with 6,000 miles? Lol

The first thing I thought when I read about the LED headlight option was that this is a must have. Meanwhile I have the impression that the harmonious look of the front ist disturbed by the look of the LED lamps. Apart from that it is less expensive and much better to repair. The JLU looks better with the standard halogen lamps.

What do you think? Can you follow me?
I totally follow! Unfortunately, I am getting to that age when LED headlights help me too much; so function over aesthetics.

 So much truth in these two posts. Half the guys posting the lifted fresh JL’s live in apartment complexes and are on leases. I find it entertaining that people admit openly to stuffing big tires and wheels on a Jeep that will only see pavement... just makes me scratch my head like WTF?

Wrangler’s high resale means if you play your cards right, you could easily drive one for the same cost per year of some FAR less fun and cool vehicles.

Why lose all the money in mods, gas, etc just so a few bros think it looks sick for such a short ownership period. There are so many lightly used JKs on 35’s here for sell you couldn’t see them all in a week.

In confession, I was a victim of this when much younger and took a financial hit on a vehicle for aforementioned reasons. So... I get it but in retrospect I would never do it again.

Did anyone find any after market roll bar covers yet? I've looked everywhere for JL, doesn't appear to be any. Ordered the Dirty Dog from Extreme Terrain only to find out they don't fit when they claimed they did. I posted there to let others know, but seems like at least one other fell for the mix up.

Count me as a regret vote. I don't normally upgrade my car stereo, but the Alpine vs 7" UConnect is a huge difference. I have already ordered upgraded Kicker speakers for the front and the soundbar, just haven't installed yet.
Can you post what you ordered for new this, I assume they fit into the stock sound bar?

Ft. Fisher SRA , CB’s north end is the more popular place to go....so I go here 3x a week if the weather permits.

My local dealer just received a Sport S after having some Saharas on the lot for a few months and for some reason the sport in Canada has the European style bumper with the ends coming up to meet the fenders. The Sahara has the regular bumper so I'm wondering why the sport has that horrendous looking bumper.
I noticed another sport at a different dealer with the ugly bumper... does anyone know why this is what we are getting in Canada?

All sports have that even in the states. I have a feeling it may have something to do with aerodynamics so they can state that a base model (in this case the sport and sport S) can achieve a certain miles per gallon/litres per 100 km. I could be way off base as to why the have it but that seems like a reasonable conclusion. If you do a search on the forum, you will see that a lot of people have taken them off while others have trimmed them to still cover the fog light connectors but remove the piece between the bumper and fenders. I know that’s what I plan on doing as soon as my sport S gets in (hopefully within 2 weeks according to my dealer)

2 weeks ago, my Katzkin rep told me they are working on matching roll bar covers. No update from them on release date.
