The dreaded JB freeze

Jeep chat told me this week that it was the painted hardtop causing the delay. I will be lucky if I get out of JB in under 30 days. Even if I get out of JB it sounds like everyone is having shipping delays. I’m in California so who knows when I will get my Jeep.

Compared to individuals in the Southeast who get in offsite overflow lots for weeks after KZ when there is serious backlog with shipping; West coast and points Southwest seem to just jump on a train and go. It may take awhile for the Southwest and West coast to arrive because of distance but they will be at least in motion forward.

Since I’m stuck in JB status waiting on parts any chance you think they would let me add on the tow package? I’m regretting not getting that when I ordered. Has anyone been able to add an additional option in JB status. If so please tell me how!

Everything I’ve been told is once an order has been processed by the factory, you can’t add or remove options.

Yeah, that’s what I have read but I’m curious if anyone has had them made an exception for adding an option past D1 status.

I know it's not what you may want to here but most dealers will let you reorder addind the tow group, but that means starting over... i have done this in the past as well. Don't worry as dealers will sell the one you ordered..

I went from JB to KZ, received window sticker and the train departed this morning. The hardtop headliner I was waiting on took one week of JB time. I didn't order the body colour top or TRMS.

I’m still stuck in JB. 3 weeks plus at this point in JB status. Supposedly for the painted hardtop for my Sahara. I’m starting to get frustrated. I love how Jeep chat has been telling me any day now for the last two weeks.

I feel your pain....18 days now for my build which has sat in the VDC lot awaiting to be moved over to the Body Vendor...I can only assume for the Premium Soft Top box to be crammed into my cargo area. Didn't have the Headliner, 2.0T or TRMS on this build, learned that lesson, so I thought!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Jeep chat just said JB status can take up to 30 days and the wait is for the Mopar headliners at this point.

I went into JB earlier this week. I have no headliner, storage rail, or painted hardtop. Other than stuffing the soft top box in the cargo area, I am not sure why I am in JB.
