Nooo... I am not into electric vehicles, but then there is this one. 2024 Tesla Cybertruck. All that I can say is WOW......... 834 HP, O to 60 MPR in 2.6 seconds. Fully electric, with a rear axle that also turns left and right. Looking at the screen, and instrument panel is just mind boggling. What I am leading up to is this, my Neighbor across the street, has a Brother-in-law that just purchased one. A 4 year wait..LOL So I got a ride in it to day. OMG...it is so fast, that it is just un-believable. The G FORCE, was so great, that I could feel a head rush. Very quiet, with almost no road noise. Just to give you a sample of it's power, the Hellcat charger is 0 to 60 MPH, in 3.4 second. So if you think that you have ridden in fast cars in your life span, you may want to think twice. I thought that my Corvettes were fast, boy was I ever wrong.

Ugliest thing on the road.

This makes the Aztec look like a work of art.
Agree, it looks like a Tank. But what that tank is capable of, is just amazing!

Most EV's are wicked fast, and that's great, until more and more of the general public starts getting behind the wheel of modern supercar power in EV SUV/crossover form, or in the Cybertruck's form, a dumpster on wheels. That's going to be a scary day.

Our other daily driver is a BMW iX, which is an AWD, all-electric blob. 4.4 seconds to 60, in a big chubby crossover. It is the most unlikely but very successful weapon at a stop light dig or moments when you need to tear someone's doors off.

I talked to a guy who owned one in a parking lot the other day. I can’t see myself buying one but I think they are kind of cool. Of all EV’s produced, Tesla is by far the most profitable. If I did own a Cybertruck, I think I would get tired of it in a big hurry.

I don't ever see myself owning a EV, or Hybrid. They are just of no interest to me. Plus from my take on it, it really is ugly. But, IMO...What it is capable of, is just amazing. I am fortunet to probably be one of the few, to ever get to ride in one, plus look it over from front to back. It is a stainless steel unibody. We were about 5 miles from my house. He just programmed my address in, and it took us back to my home, all on its own.

I'm so sick of the hype over these things. I've seen a couple in person, even in my little podunk rural area, and they just scream "douchebag alert". They're the newest version of the Hummer H1; owned by some rich a-hole who doesn't know anything about off-road vehicles but wants everyone to look at him.

I think EVs are useless around here, and hybrids make more sense. Since buying my 4xe, that opinion hasn't changed.

Give me a vehicle that can go 500 miles on a single charge, and can re-charge in 15 minutes, then one might make sense.
