Temperature reads 41 degrees

It’s not an issue for me because I live in a somewhat warmer clime (Texas) and I don’t have auto start or the cold weather package, but mine does this almost every day. My best guess is that it remembers the temp from when I parked it the afternoon or evening before and doesn’t update till I’m moving.

Yet another reason to control the HVAC manually. Who knows what sensors are out of whack on these jeeps?

Had this happen for the first time today.

It was -2 outside, remote started my Jeep.

I park in underground parking out of sunlight.

Got in, heated seats etc were not on. I pressed the ignition button, then saw the temp on Stereo was reading 16 degrees. Then the music stopped - entire screen went blank and rebooted.

After rebooting it still read 16 degrees. After about 5 minutes it made it's way down to -2.

Have never had it not be dead on when the Jeep is started before.
