remote start below 40 degrees

WOW! With temps 40 degrees or below who doesn't want a warm seat and warm hands?? So much effort to turn them down or off! I guess we all have our B...ahhh Glitches, mine is that the passengers heated seat doesn't come on with remote startt!! lol

tried it again today, 3 remote starts, 2 starts without rear defroster activated, and 1 start with it activated. Guess its some algorithm in the software that determines when to activate it. Didn't think I needed remote start since I park indoors, but I use it regardless (just make sure the garage door is open)...

And to the extent that Uconnect allows these things to be user configurable, is it necessary (I ask from a point of ignorance) to re-configure desired features when software upgrades are released?
